Join our Internal Development / Kubernetes Infrastructure team (KIND).

The Kubernetes Infrastructure Development team at Wargaming is hiring a Kubernetes Developer to help us build an internal infrastructure platform. As a part of the team, you will develop and maintain internal infrastructure which helps engineers to build and run various applications across multiple locations and cloud providers. We help to maintain the sustainability of global services and operations of all our games and connect us to our 100 million+ audience.

What will you do?

  • Developing and maintaining Wargaming Kubernetes platform as well as contributing to various internal and open-source projects.
  • Write and maintain Go code that communicates with Kubernetes API and internal systems.
  • Deployment, management and troubleshooting of our Kubernetes services as well as other OS or network related issues.
  • Availability, performance, security, reliability of our services and parts of the infrastructure around them at all stages of their service life cycle.
  • Support and development of a large amount of automation for the build, deployment and other processes required for our services.
  • Participation in a rotating on-call duties schedule. Providing support and assistance to other Wargaming teams.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of GO programming language.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes API, libraries (eg. controller-runtime, etc) and third-party tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, ClusterAPI).
  • Experience developing APIs and cloud infrastructure services.
  • Experience building and maintaining cloud services (CI/CD, observability, scaling, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with Linux systems, Networking and Databases.
  • Experience with automation tools (for example Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Experience with various monitoring systems (for example Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Zabbix).
  • Experience in debugging applications at the system and network level.
  • English skills at Intermediate level.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Expertise in building large scale, high volume, secure, efficient, and resilient operations environment.
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with VMWare vSphere.
  • Familiarity with Python / JS (Angular).
  • The ownership approach and experience in making decisions with minimal supervision.

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 6000 monthly gross.
